What you're buying. A two-sided discount arrangement, not a voucher or credit. You pay 50% of the standard subscription cost for the chosen plan and duration. VoucherGrid uses this to administer the referral and apply discounts to both accounts.
When discounts activate. Neither discount applies immediately. Both activate at the same moment: when the recipient has subscribed and you are also an active subscriber. If you're already subscribed when the recipient signs up, both discounts activate straight away. If not, the recipient's discount waits until you subscribe.
What each party receives. The recipient pays 50% of the standard monthly rate for the gifted period. You, as the gifter, get the same period completely free — 100% off your subscription. Your total cost is the 50% upfront payment only.
The mirroring rule. Your free months are tied to the recipient's continued subscription. If the recipient cancels, your free period ends at the next billing boundary. If the recipient downgrades their plan, your free period also ends. The same applies in reverse — if you cancel, the recipient's discount is cancelled.
Codes. Single-use. Once redeemed, the code cannot be transferred or reused. Codes do not expire, so if your first recipient never signs up, you can share the code with someone else.
Refunds. Non-refundable once the recipient has redeemed the code. If the code is unredeemed, contact support within 14 days of purchase.
In plain terms. You pay half the standard price upfront. Your friend gets 50% off their monthly subscription. You get the same period free on your subscription. You both save 50%. Your free months last as long as your recipient stays subscribed.
